CURRIMUS

Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 July 2026

Currimus has no servers. It collects nothing, sends nothing and has no account to sign in to. Everything below is a consequence of that.

What the app stores, and where

Currimus records runs on your Apple Watch and shows them on your iPhone. The data it handles is:

All of it is written to your device and to Apple Health, which is Apple's own store on your device and under your control. Nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else, because there is nowhere for it to go: the app makes no network requests.

Apple Health

Currimus asks for two things from Apple Health, and only uses them for what it says:

Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, data mining, or shared with any third party. It is never sold. It never leaves your device through Currimus.

Location

Location is used while a run is recording, to trace the route and measure climb and elevation. It is used in the background during a run, because your wrist is down for most of one. It is not used at any other time, and a run records distance, pace and heart rate perfectly well without it.

What Currimus does not do

Your data is yours

Children

Currimus is not directed at children under 13, and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
